Citizen Science

Your NGO has the commitment and the community to run a citizen science programme.

Scientific design — protocols, data quality standards, analysis — is the piece Thalassa adds to it. The results are built for what an NGO needs them for: evidence to bring to local authorities, reports for funders, and, where the data allow, peer-reviewed publication.

Past projects have trained more than 100 volunteers, surveyed municipalities on the measures they have in place against single-use plastics, and left protocols that partners kept using after the project ended.
